Is there a company where they ring you when jobs become available...?

Is there such thing as an agency you register with and they help you get a job through telling you when jobs in your expertise become available.
NOT like Adeco where they are like all the other companies where they help with your CV's and improve so and so etc.
NOT when its a job searching company like reed etc online because everything I apply to online they do not even respond or if im lucky rejected, but at least its a response. I want to talk to an actual person and hopefully they can help with more local jobs or in the city even.
I thought there were companies who provided such a service but i cant find anything online, it seems the attitude of companies is: just make a website with a basic job search, why pay people for labour. Unless of course that the Job Centre can get the jobless to give free labour for three months, then the business changes to someone else for three months and so on. Its suppose to give us experience but if im working in a shop, and i need HR experience, no HR manager will hire me because i have worked in a shop, all I have done is waste time.
Back to my problem, if i can keep in touch with someone, get a rapport with someone and ring them everyday i think i might be able to have a better chance, not get a job, just a better chance, that's how difficult it is nowadays.

I'm not aware of one but like you say costs would probably be too much.
You could always set it up though?0 -
Working in a shop will help you develop skills that are transferable to a HR environment - think outside the box!0

Yes that's how agencies work, no?Is there such thing as an agency you register with and they help you get a job through telling you when jobs in your expertise become available.
.
If you go in to see them and they say they can help you if they get a job in and its fits you on their system they will or should call you.0 -
I second the agencies point, you have to keep chasing them though - keep in touch by phone or email every week or so and they won't forget you.My Debt Free Diary

It is exactly what an agency does but inevitably they have a large book of people and wont call everyone thats on it that can possibly match but will have a way of ranking candidates and will call them in order until they get enough that are willing to be put forward for the role.0

I think you have to consider what a recruitment agent does. They match people to Jobs not jobs to people!
Make an appointment and meet a couple and see which ones you build a rappor with. I have used recruitment agents in the past with success. Just make sure you register with those that specialise in your area and I used to make sure that I didn't go any longer than 2 weeks without speaking to them.0
