Any ideas for Christmas presents for a nine month old?

My little girl will be nine months old at Christmas time. Has anyone got any good suggestions of things she might enjoy at that age, as obviously she'll have changed a fair amount in two months.

I think the ELC Happyland range is great for toddlers, we must have almost all of it between my 2 children. Mine both have christmas birthdays so I'm quite wary of getting presents that are too young for them, they have to wait a year for new toys so I want to get things they won't outgrow quickly.
  • I have an 11 month old and I've been having a good research into presents and have decided on getting one of the the 'ball popper' toys. Seems pretty easy for their age and looks enough to have them wide eyed and excited about the balls flying about all over the shop :)

I've also recently bought my DS some blocks and they are his favourite thing of the moment. All babies love a bit of block action, lol. Also, how about a push-along-walker thing? She will likely be standing up more and may even be wanting to start taking steps by Christmas. Most of them are musical so even if she isn't wanting to walk with it, the buttons and stuff on the front of it will keep her entertained until she wants to use it.

Does she enjoy baths? Bath toys are a good one! I nabbed a swimming turtle thing from Tesco for a stocking filler. I always find around this age they're a bit amazed at anything that moves or spins on its own!

The happyland and little people sets are great both my daughters had these for xmas around that age and loved them. DD was 10 mths on her 1st xmas, dd2 was 12 months old.

Bath toys were a big hit at that age too. VTech toot toot garage she loved and still does.

The elephant ball popper was another hit with her.
Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.
  • All of the above plus anything musical that can be waved, banged or shook!! My DGS, 11 months, loves the tambourine/ maraca and drum we got him from Wilkos (although ELC or Galt do similiar)

This year I will have something that resembles a garden and not a building site!

Both mine were 9 months for their 1st christmas. Bath toys, cuddly toys that also rattled, outfits and items that could be used in the year ahead eg shape sorters were items that I bought. Me and hubby bought seperately for each of them for the 1st year, so it was a surprise to the other parent what we had got.

We got my little boy a walker that had a removable front bit that he could play with till he was old enough to walk and then it became absolutely brilliant for helping him learn to walk so something like that may have more longevity than some of the other toys.

THis is the one we got http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3479865.htm?CMPID=GS001&_$ja=kw:{keyword}|cgn:pla||3479865|tsid:11677|cn:pla||3479865|mt:{MatchType}|crid:14542145259

My LO will be 11 months old for christmas and her birthday I've got her (just need to decide which ones are going to be for which)

    Shape sorter ball
    Wooden animal sounds puzzle
    sit on car
    toy penguin
    books
    torch
    pull along toy
    Bricks

My mum has bought her first dolls pram and my brothers bath toys and musical instruments.

I could just keep on buying but I really have to stop myself!
