Hi Peeps,
A friend is looking at conservatory furniture for about £1400. Anyone haggled successfully there, or does anyone have any discount codes for dfsonline?
I reckon he can knock a decent chunk off that, but it's nice to go in forewarned and forearmed with a figure in mind.
cheers,
Martin

I tried and failed to get a reduction on our sofa (£1050). So I settled for the 3 years interest free credit with nothing to pay on year 1.
SO, we'd had it a year before the 1st payment and no interest on the balance. At least the money is earning interest in the bank instead.
You can negotiate free delivery though (better than nothing).0 -
Delivery is free as standard now.
I managed to haggle my order down by an extra £100 by saying that I had the DFS vouchers at home. I bought a 3,2,1 and stool leather suite, so he knocked off £25 per item.
May be worth mentioning that.
Good luck.0 -
i had £250 of vouchers through the door for a special one day event lol, they were trying to get me there with offers of champagne :ninja:Man who run into airport turn-styles is going to Bangkok
To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism; to steal from many is research0 -
Oh right, that's a bit disappointing. These vouchers, northern.... could you elaborate? How much for, what they were for, etc?
Thanks to everyone who took the time to reply.0 -
They were vouchers sent as a mailing worth £250 in total giving £25 off per item so for example if you buy 3 pieces of furniture they would knock off £75.
Is your friend also in W Midlands because if he is anywhere near Yorkshire I could speak to the salesman who gave us the discount. (Birstall branch)0
