Re-mortgage on DP

Hi
I am currently on a fixed term deal with HSBOS for my mortgage. It ends next year. Im starting out on a DMP and will probably end up with defaults on my record.
Can anyone tell me if HBOS credit check you to remortgage when you are already with them? I have no intention of moving for a long while, and just want to continue as I am.

There'll continue to offer to mortgage products without the need for a credit check. This isn't classified as a remortgage I should add.0

If it's Halifax, you need to ask them what product transfer rates they have available.I am a mortgage broker.
