Least amount of washing powder?
Comments

Ours is medium to hard from what I can tell with a GoogleLove and compassion to all x0

I used 50ml (~40g) per load of wash powder and soda crystal mix.
Mix = 2/3 almat powder & 1/3 crystals.
Just seen a post about water hardness. Ours is hard.0 -
about half the recommended amount. Unless the clothes are very dirty with oil or mud.0

I use a tbsp and find no difference from when I used a full large cup.
In my experience, most kids whites don't get 100% white from ANY powder no matter how much you use so they get an occasional treatment from Dr Beckmann whitening sachets which bring them up lovely.
It annoys me when tv ads for washing powders say that they are better than ever, get your whites really white etc as they have been saying the same thing for the last 40 years and I have yet to find one that performs any better than when I started doing washing 28 years ago!!!
This is a hard water area. 1 tbsp for us, 30c and quick 34 minute cycle! I am going to start washing colours on cold though0
