Sonic toothbrush

I got a Oral B a couple of years ago and the difference has been massive. My dentist was adamant that there is no need to spend a lot of money on a toothbrush. He also advised that the Oral B were more effective than the Phillips ones.
I think it's just a matter of preference, the main difference is going from manual to electric, then what you like is up to you.

Would advise against a battery operated toothbrush, I was using one and it was worse than using a manual brush, particularly when the battery was running low mine was useless.
