Debate House Prices

In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non MoneySaving matters are no longer permitted. This includes wider debates about general house prices, the economy and politics. As a result, we have taken the decision to keep this board permanently closed, but it remains viewable for users who may find some useful information in it. Thank you for your understanding.

Is MSE the first site you check everyday on the Internet?

MSE and in particlar this sub forum is the first and last site I check most days - I normally scream at the top of my voice "leeeeroyyy jenkinsss" while the page loads up followed by some mid air groin thrusts

  • Facebook first, then this, then newspapers online, with e-mail accounts as and when or checked on phone. I like this board and the Grabbit board. I waste far too much time here, but have learnt a lot too.

This is so sad. I dread to think what your hands are doing during the thrusts....

You cannot surely be a 'money' person. If you were, you would firstly take a glance at what the markets did overnight in Asia. After that, you need to check a few balances on Internet banking to ensure you haven't got excess money in your current account that belongs in savings.

After that, you should glance at a responsible news provider (or the BBC) just to check whether or not WW3 has started, who might have died, and whether or not any other so-called celebrities have been arrrested overnight for savilling.....

Mark my words. In order to be able to face some of the posters on her [no names. No packdrill] I strongly advise being at the very least on your third triple espresso, and your second cigar.

I check HPC first to see what has been posted and then I know what will appear here later in the day.

Nope. Mine is normally BBC if there's been some overnight soccer or cricinfo for a Test Match playing in the UK or Caribbean. Otherwise email for overnights from work or mates in Europe.
