I think having flowers delivered is often very expensive and have also been disappointed several times with the quality.......
crocus.co.uk
have very good special offers and I have always had a good standard of service,information, etc
However I had never ordered flowers to be delivered,until this week when I ordered the bunch of long stem african roses
I just thought others might be interested to know how pleased I was with them and also how good I think it is that they show concern for where their flowers come from etc
They say;
'The reason why Crocus chose these flowers, apart from the fact that they are so beautiful, is that the grower plays an important social role in the Kenyan community. They have built a village for their employees with stone houses complete with electricity and water, a modern hospital with full medical facilites, a school, social centre and even a sports stadium, all free to their staff.
So I felt really happy to know that someone else besides myself was actually benefiting from my purchase :happyhear
