hi got a letter from lowell financial
it says
can the credit search me and get my credit file with out my consent
i thought you had to give consent to be credit searched
please could you advise me if this is legal

They do this by obtaining a copy of your credit file from a credit reference agency then using the information with in it to determine what options are available to us
