Hi, a few months ago I started receiving ERA at work, so my basic rate of pay went up to £7.80 from £7.51.
However I have been paid the wrong rate a few times now, work have told me that I just have to wait for what I'm owed to be in next months pay, but I have been told by other people I can demand that they pay me what they owe me now?
Can anyone tell me which is correct please, I am getting very fed up with them never paying me right!!
Thank you

I suspect no-one is answering you because no-one knows what ERA is....(I certainly don't)
IF you are contractually entitled to a rate of pay, your employer is contractually obliged to pay it on payday, not when it suits them. In your position, if the underpayment is going to cause you hardship, I would write to them pointing this out, pointing out that your contract means that you should be paid in full when your salary is due, and pointing out that the absence of your full pay may mean that you go overdrawn, in which case you will pursue them for your overdraft fees.Ex board guide.
