Bringing/making notes during an interview
Comments
-
I always have notes both as an interviewer and as an interviewee.
As an interviewer, unless you take notes after the 3rd interview things start to blur and it would be impossible to decide what interviewee said what.
As an interviewee, I go through the list of competencies required and jot them down, as well as any relevant things in my CV that are particularly relevant to the job description. At the end of the interview when I am asked if I have anything to add, I check that I have covered everything, and if not I say something like. I do not think I have adequately explained my role as ........ and how it relates to the job description and then go on to explain.0 -
