    The book coupon is for a specific book, but will scan against any shopping in Tesco so long as the SA will allow it.

    is this just to bet on one horse or could you use it for say a pound win on 10 horses

    I have had the book token refused twice this week. SA took one look and said no we do not accept these. Also had problems with the book token last month and only managed to use a couple.

    Thank you very much - I did not realise this - I wondered wby everyone was so keen to get these - thought they were just avid readers - I am now going to have a rumage thro my reclycling to dig out last Saturday's Daily Mail.

    I've got a lot to learn - but making it a mission!

    The Saturday coupon scanned fine in the Weston Super Mare branch. I always chose a young assistant who takes a coupon without studying it too carefully.
