Does it have to be Portrush itself?

Is very good and close to the distillery :beer:Dave0 -
If Portstewart is a possiblilty (3 miles, £7 taxi) then try Cromore Halt (http://www.cromore.com/) or the Strand Guest House (http://www.strandguesthouse.com/).0

Would prefer to stay in Portrush but very few B&Bs seem to have a private car park.0 -

It is the annual Mini show which is a 2 day event and there is a firework display on the Saturday night. Are you going to play your golf then?0 -

Any suggestions where to stay in Portrush that does not cost a fortune?0 -

I looked there but anyone we contacted wants a booking for 2 nights. My hubby phoned a B&B and asked her if she had a double room available on Saturday 25th August. She said she had but as it was a bank holiday weekend they were only going to take a booking for at least 2 nights because they could get a week for a room and why should she take a booking for 1 night. Hubby just said thankyou and goodbye, he wasn't expecting a 4 1/2 minute lecture for asking for a double room for one night!!
Hopefully we will get a better look at the weekend and a better response.0 -
