Remortgaging whilst unemployed

I would really appreciate some advice. Our mortgage is due to end Apr 2013 we are currently on a tracker which is BR +2.64%. We will have £116000 outstanding on a property that is worth £175000. My husband has been made redundant. If we do nothing we will drop on the SVR at 3.99%
Assuming he is still unemployed in Apr, staying with our current lender seems like the only possibility. Do lenders generally re-assess our circumstances for new deals? Also, we have just had a baby so should the lender be notified of this at the point of remortgage?
Thanks,
BG

You won't get a remortgage.
You ask your lender what customer retention products it has available for you to choose from. You will not be required to disclose your husband's redundancy or the childbirth.I am a mortgage broker.
