Hi wondering if anyone can help.
I have 2 outstanding payday loans which i am trying to arrange repayment plans with but not having any luck. I havent defaulted on either yet.
First one is with Quickquid and is paid by direct debit. I cancelled the DD this morning with my bank. Are they able to set up a new one without my consent? If they do can i reclaim the money back as i have not authorised it?
Second one is with Payday Uk and is paid by debit card. I cancelled the payment today with the bank but they said Payday Uk may find a way to force the payment through. Again can i claim it back as i have cancelled it with the bank?
I have moved my wages this month to a different account to try to stop them taking anything. Im not looking not to pay, just to get them to agree to a payment plan.
Thanks, Dave

They can set up another Direct Debit if you have cancelled the original one, and another one if you cancel that, and another, etc, etc. You will have to instruct your bank not to accept any DD's from this company.
As for your Debit Card payment, again they can keep applying until they get some money. You will also have to instruct your bank not to accept any debits from the company.
Your post shows, like many others, why the rates for Payday loan companies are so high, and why they make so many charges for defaulting on payments.
By doing what you have done, you are sure to be setting yourself up for a good few extra charges on top of the high interest rates originally quoted."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. Hi, i found both QQ and PDUK very helpful when i set up payment plans with them, first QQ i went into arrears by a day then wen online chat and set something up straight away, im paying 40 month on around 700 quid,
PDUK i just phoned and explained my situation and they agreed to freeze interest and pay it off over 6 payments (months)
Both I found ok to sort this out with
