Hopefully this will be 3rd time lucky. I joined this challenge in September and have smashed my target both months. Doing this challenge has made more focussed on making money where I can.

Please put me down for £1 a day.

    Good luck to everyone.

No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23
    Boots points:£39.21. Extra money in 2012:£674.59. In 2013 £603.48. 2014: £85. 2015: £0 :j

    MSEing gone too far?? :rotfl:

I was out yesterday and saw a lady coming out of a shop as i walked by, quick as a shot she swooped down to pick something up off the floor, for a split second i thought she had beat me to some road kill and then i realised she swooped on ......a button & pocketted it :rotfl:

Have a great moneymaking day everyone :money:

Was it a pretty button? Or just a bog standard one :D
Buttons are actually pretty expensive to buy individually, or like in little sets of 3 or 4. So :money: ;) Probably worth more than the 1p that we would be willing to pick up :o

Really hoping now that someone posts later on to add a couple of £s to their total 'for finding a button in the street that I was on my way to buy anyway' :rotfl:

    £1.04 from ebay
    £0.05 from road kill

    :j

Have got some mystery shopping tonight and tomorrow too, and waiting for some I've already done to be paid, so a good start to the month for me.

Have got ebay bits ending this evening also, and they've upped my selling limits to 20 items, so I can get listing again. :j

I am not counting surveys/points/vouchers etc until I have banked them or have them in my pocket.

  • Thanks for running it again Monkey.

Could you put me down for £5 a day.... kind of got lost near the end of October but I'm ready to make me some money in November :D.

I got £15 in amazon vouchers from swagbucks yesterday so that'll do to kick me off. Hoping to spend even less but give even better presents over Xmas this year. Last year actual money spent was less than £20 and I gave more than I ever have before, thanks to vouchers from reward sites (mostly swagbucks). This year I am about to step off the precipice into unemployment (unless I find something else in the next 2 months) so not actually using the money in my Christmas budget would be great ;).

I broke my kindle on Wednesday though. I dropped it and the screen broke so that now 2/3 of the screen permanently shows the last page I was reading :(. I use it all the time so think I am going to replace it using my new netbook money, so no new netbook :(. Just not sure whether to go for a new kindle or a tablet (the tablet I found is actually the cheaper option upfront but then I would have to pay for the 3G). Decisions, decisions...
