Got rid of my old focus for a bargain price of £85. It's been sat on my drive for 3 months without a buyer and my LL has been putting pressure on me to get it moved so had to go with my last option of DVLA take back scheme. Oh well, money in the pot. Just about to cash out on SB and waiting for £5 for having an app on my phone to hit my bank.

Bleugh, got a bug that's doing the rounds at the moment, so had to cancel a few MS jobs the last few days which I'm a bit annoyed about, but can't be helped.
Has given me a bit more time at home to have a sort out, and have taken lots of photos of things to sell, and stuck them on Facebook. A few things have got interest so far, but not expecting everything too as I've put prices a bit higher than what I think I'll end up getting on the off chance people will pay. You don't get if you don't ask and all that. I'm happy to keep things an extra day or 2 to give it a shot first before accepting lower offers or asking less.
Did have someone collect a little something for £1 earlier though :D

  • Hi Fairyclicks
Good news about the oil. Do you have enough dried/frozen food in the house to keep you going. Have you asked anyone for help to move, do you have any other family that could help?

It will all work out for you. :)

Oh no, as if moving isn't stressful enough at the best of times, let alone with no car. Would you have had to get a van anyway for the bigger things / furniture.
Maybe ask on Freecycle if anyone knows of anyone who would be willing to help you for cheap, I assume you are still moving in the same town / area?
Lots of people on there tend to be pretty generous so might offer up some help.

Oh and another £8 and £2 from a couple of Facebook sales this evening.
I suppose that's the good thing about being stuck in ill is that I can tell people they can collect straight away / whenever, which today at least has meant no no shows :)
