shopping delivery

I will be having my shopping delivered soon as I do not have a car and the nearest supermarket is a good taxi ride away so it will be cheaper to have it delivered but what price should I be looking to pay for delivery? are there any tips to get free delivery? are any of the big supermarkets better than the others? any tips and advice would be great as I'm on a low budget so every penny counts.

  • Asda do free delivery if you have their card and spend over £99, otherwise they're from £2-5 i think.

Think they're the cheapest for delivery but i'm not sure.

Dont think there's anyway to get free delivery though.

Tesco sometimes email me saying I can get free delivery when I spend over £40 or £50.

It's usually an all day delivery slot though, like 9am til 8pm or whatever.

Other than that, I know on the asda website you can pick a delivery slot to suit your budget, usually from £2 upwards x
Can't think of anything smart to put here...

great, if there is a £2 option that's fine.

I seen loads of first time offers to use these services , such as £10 off etc but now I want one I can't find any, anyone know how to get these offers?
  • I'm afraid I don't know your situation.., but I try to manage with one or two shopping trolleys. I just don't like paying delivery charges full stop lol. Obviously I do realise that might not suit your situation.

my nearest store is a bus ride away, then a 5 min walk, and a taxi back, so £2 is a lot cheaper than that, just been looking a Waitrose :rotfl: and it's free delivery if over £50, some of their prices are not too bad either, they do a cheap range, I'm always too embarrassed to pick up to many white label stuff , so it gets over that problem too :o
