Getting a mortgage on agency?

Hi, I was just wondering if it is possible to get a mortgage whilst working for a job agency. I have been at the same job for nearly two years but had to change agency after one year.
I have got 5000 saved and the house we want is 87500. I bring home about 400 pound a week and me and my girlfriend have 3 children. I know it is unlikely to get a mortgage with 5000 but I am thinking of asking my parents for 5000 loan.
