Spreadsheet for reducing debts

Hi all,
I keep a spreadsheet detailing all my debts, and timelines of when they should be cleared, with the debt reducing over time etc. But I have not managed to get my head round the interest side of things.
Is there anyone who can help me work this out, or who has already done this?
I would be so grateful. I'm pretty good on excel, but not as good with Maths (can't believe I got a B in GCSE - it was only 11 years, but I have a bad memory
