Thermodynamics

Hi all,
Does anybody have any info on thermodynamics?
I was looking at installing a logburner with back boiler linked to solar thermal with a emersion for back up.
Now I have read about thermodynamics which supposedly can supply all your hot water and heating all year round!
Has any one got a system fitted?
All replies greatly appreciated

Thermodynamics is a branch of science concerned with heat transfer - engineers generally study for 3 years as a major part of most engineering degrees. It's very complex maths.
A company has now come along and produced a heatpump system with a black panel as the evaporator which they call, perversely and confusingly, 'thermodynamic' or something. Imo, they do this so people will google 'thermodynamics' and see lots of complex equations and assume it's solely to do with their system - so confusion marketing imv.
It's been discussed in depth on other threads - perhaps if you put 'thermodynamic panel' into the search box you'd sind some discussion, here's one for starters
