Sanction Letter Unclear

Hi
Just had a sanction letter from the JobCentre due to missing a Work Programme appointment (I missed the appointment fair and square, not that it does anything to help me get a job). It says:-
1) I'm signing on tomorrow, the 29th. Am I right in thinking that I will still get money on the 1st November for the 2 weeks preceding that date?
2) Is the sanction 2 weeks or 4 weeks?
3) When in theory should I be getting some more money?

However, later on it says:-We cannot pay you Jobseeker's Allowance from 30 October 2012. This is because we recently told you that a decision would be made about a doubt: on whether you failed to take advantage of a place on an employment programme. We have now decided that you did not take advantage of a place on an employment programme and that you did not have sufficiently good reasons for doing so. This decision applies from 30 October 2012 to 12 November 2012
This leaves me with some questions, and I was wondering if you good folks could answer them please as I have a lot more faith in you than the JobCentreWe cannot pay you Jobseeker's Allowance from 13 November 2012. We cannot pay you because you have not paid, or been credited with, enough Class 1 National Insurance Contributions

1 - probably
2 - 2 weeks
3 - when your 6 months contributions JSA runs out. However why would you have not paid enough contributions? If they have paid up til now then why suddenly have they worked out that you haven't paid enough contributions? If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -
Thanks for the first 2 answers

As for the third, I've been on income based JSA for a while now.....
So would I be right in thinking that I'll next get money through on the 29th November, after signing on in the 26th?0 -
No idea.
Does income based JSA depend on Class 1 contributions then? I think you need to ask them. It could be just a letter error...
I would say though to avoid sanctions, just go to these things. Everyone knows it's a waste of time but it's about playing the game.If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -
Nope, Income Based JSA is for when you haven't got enough contributions...
This is the first one I've missed in the year and a quarter on the Work Programme. First anything to do with the Job Centre that I've missed since July 2010 when I had my last job...
It is definitely a waste of time. It took Working Links 5 months to open their office up in town, before that I had to go 20 miles away, which was only a temporary office there, and their computer systems weren't working for something like 8 months. They do absolutely nothing to help me get a job. I go there, they ask me what I've applied for, I tell them, they then bring up the JobSeekers website and go through the list with me, which I've already seen as I have the vacancies in the last 24 hours sent to me by email, then they say see you in 2 weeks. I would SOOOOOO love to tell them where to go....
The annoying thing is that if I were to get a job while I was on it, they would get paid for 'helping' me get it. They don't deserve it....
Thanks for your help anyway, and sorry for the rant. lol0
