I do sympathise with the position that you find yourself in, but I have to agree with the posters who have said shop around for good second hand. It will be so much wiser than extortionate interest! As I sit in my living room, in my 40's, twice divorced and ripped off again by an ex, my PC is old and was second hand, my three peice, my TV, bookshelves, mirroe, most of my videos/ dvds etc, and to be honest, most of my clothes. All second hand! Yes I'd have loved new, but I would rather know that these things are bought and paid for. Try the charity shops for 3 pieces, Barnardos, BHF, etc. They have some excellent donations, and you have the added bonus that you are donating to charity! There are always good dishwasher bargains as many people buy them, don't use them, and sell them on. And you can buy a washing machine new for £200 if you shop around. Keep us posted!
