vaseline stain

Does anyone know how to get a vaseline stain out of cloyhes?
We all know what we should do, we just don't know why we don't do it.

    Try dampening it, rub well with washing liquid or soap, inside and out of the clothing, then wash.

    This method works for me for for other oily marks.

    sounds mad, but even removed bike oil from my dh's t shirt!

    Ooooh, don't try that - you run the risk of *setting* the stain.

    The warm iron trick is simply to remove the candle wax. The greasy mark that it leaves behind needs to be washed out with some sort of detergent.

    yes swarfega is definately the stuff to use! not the one with bits in though as that will tear your clothes, I keep a tub ib the bathroom just for laundry!:beer:
