Good news is that thanks to copious amounts of soluble aspirin and honey and lemon, I am feeling much better this evening and was even well enough to rustle up a home made lasagne - using up some lingering peppers I was in fear I'd have to chuck (roasted in the oven whilst the mince was doing). Bloomin lovely, used to always have a couple in the freezer for a quick ready meal and since I have started making my own can't stand shop bought ones.

Couple of bits I'd ordered for xmas prezzies arrived today so that's a couple more ticks of the list, picked up some more money wallets as I realised I only had 4 left from last year (don't ask how many I actually need ) and the little snowflake necklace I got from Amaz0n Black Friday also arrived...whoops, I hadn't confessed to that before had I? :o BUT it 'only' cost me £1.12 in real money as I had a gift cert balance from my Shop and Scan, so not bad for what was £20 normally.

Oh, and second confession - my mulled wine set should be being delivered tomorrow :o it is rather lovely though

Well done to everyone this month, if you've beaten your target :T and if you haven't quite made it, just remember every NSD is an achievement and one of the key aims of this challenge is to focus you on your spending, so if it's done that :T xx

It is there now. Sign up and challenge yourself to not giving in to the pressure of the big 'c' and the mass market forces urging you to spend what you don't have :D

Re your monthly total, it’s really up to you if you want to change your rules. If you think it would help you to do this challenge by month rather than from payday to payday, then go for it.

    Hello to:

blindtoast - food for bunny is very important so well worth missing an NSD for that. Glad you enjoyed Skyfall, it’s had some good reviews, and yay to the free evening out, very MSE

Purplemumof2 - hitting your target is only part of the NSD challenge, the most important thing is whether it’s helping you to manage your spending better. Sometimes life just gets in the way of NSDs....

Fae - lists are very important when going shopping, they definitely help with capturing those elusive NSDs

rising - hope today’s spends weren’t too serious. Could you drop some major hints for vouchers for massages for C presents?

P0lly - beanie’s right (as always). Don’t beat yourself up about lunch today, if you enjoyed it it was worth doing as an occasional treat. Life sometimes comes along and trips us up in our quest for NSDs

kerri - glad you’re feeling better
