One of my friends tests tumours and he smokes like a chimney - he says that it's now the stress of knowing / seeing what they can do everyday makes him smoke even more!:eek:

I was the same - no matter how ill I felt, I still managed a cig but then went totally cold turkey when I was in hospital - think that's part of the problem as I didn't do the usual things that are recommended - setting your date .... having your last cig etc etc

But I'd been putting that off for well over a year so it did achieve something

Poor guy!If you do get the book out,maybe lend it to him...

You've still done though even if you haven't done the usual things.Are you feeling resolved or are you having a bit of a wobbly time?

I've been MIA for a few days as I've been at my boyfriend's while my parents have been away. Managed a NSD today taking me to NSD #7 pretty fortunate really as yesterday I paid for work's Christmas do and a prescription so I'm now pretty much skint until Monday!

Hi all NSD 8 today. Missed out on NSd monday as i needed some chocolate and yesterday i paid for DD2's trip. Hoping that i have got most of the niggly spends for the month done now. Need 40 to pay anotherinstallment of DD1's school trip so there foes the money i thought i was saving now i dont have the water to pay for. When ever i think i am going to have some extra money there all ways seems to be another bill to pay:mad:

Everyone is doing really well and there are lots of prizes starting to appear on the board. I can't believe that I will have to start thinking about December's challenge this weekend :eek:
