Cancelling a bed

I ordered a bed 8 days ago, at Debenhams it has not been delivered yet. We don't need the bed due to circumstances. Anyway, I paid in full with my debit card. It's made by Bransons for beds. I looked at the cancellation policy, which I got in the mail a few days after I paid and it states buying the bed is a legally binding contract and they will not accept cancellations. If I knew this I would have never bought the bed. Are they allowed to have this rule? Shouldn't they have told me this when I bought the bed? When I worked in retail, electronics, as far as I knew it was 14 days for refund or exchange (if not opened). I want to go back for a refund today, I haven't been able to get to the store earlier.

Did you order it online - If so I think that you have a 7 day cooling off period after you've received it.0

They took 25 days to deliver a bed to me so you may have time. I would think it would depend if they have delivered it to the couriers or not. It is worth asking imo.0

If you bought the bed in store, then unfortunately you have no right to cancel, so unless you were told to the contrary when you made the purchase, unfortunately you will no recourse.
By the way, did you mean Bensons?Gone ... or have I?0
