Why bother ? Two weeks into January 2013, all of the retailers (WHsmiths, etc.) will be selling their calendars for half price or less just to get rid of them.

You can also get them for free from the freebies board. I have already got a free calandar for next year and for this year, I got a free Ontario Outdoor Adventure Calendar. Great pictures on this one and fantastic value for money.

£4.39 is almost half-price (as the majority retail for £7.99) and some do not want to wait as they are for Xmas presents and secret santa's so it's the best price for now (much cheaper than HMV online, Play.com, etc)

WHSmith still had calendars at full price in February but HMV had them all for £1 in-store but not online, probably due to the postage costs. Play.com had some for about £3 but it all depends on which one you want as some sell better than others (Cliff Richard was the biggest seller last year  )

In what way is it a waste? Are you saying you don't buy anyone a christmas present until the January sales start?

I ordered this a few days ago @ £4.39..... didn't realise it was a sale of all calenders.

Be warned.... Amazons 'Green Initiative' must mean use as much cardboard & paper as possible...

The box was as big as an old video recorder!!!
One good thing is it didn't get folded :rotfl:

The 2013 slim calendars are also on sale for as little as £2.50 (that's half price!) --

I spotted only two £2.50 ones, but they're both goodies...
