Have you seen this post from MSE Joe?

I have seen this post on another part of the board, but not sure how many people have seen it, so thought I would post a link here, in the hope that more people will be able to comment.

Hi guys,

We're looking at potentially adding a start and end date fields specifically for the competitions board allowing you to quickly see (at board+thread level) when a thread (competition) starts and ends.

I have a couple of questions to help me develop this more to your needs.

- Would you prefer for it to be mandatory for you to provide a start and/or end date for threads in the competitions board?
- Or would you prefer to be able to leave the field blank if the detail is unknown (both start and/or end) and the detail is hidden if it is unknown?

Responses to this would be very helpful.

Joe

in direct response to his post, not in response to me, if that makes sense.

Thank you Firefly. I saw that you had posted on the thread and one other comper had also posted, but I was not sure how many people would go back to the original thread about the red x button and read it, if they had already commented about the red x. I thought that as it is quite a big change, it deserved to be flagged separately.

Thanks, hadn't seen it (noticed the "red x" thread had been bumped but thought it would only have been about that)

My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly :)

Our Precious Baby Tianna has now joined our Family, she is much loved and very welcome, xxx
