I was discharged 4 months ago - i've done a clean up and applied yesterday. I've had a message to say someone will call me in the next 3 days to confirm - not sure if that means yes or no!
Another good idea for credit build up is a clothing catalogue - just purchase a pack of socks or something from Next - worth a try as it will open a credit account.
I was accepted yesterday! 4 months after Discharge.

be prepared for an annoying number of PPI calls though.....even though numerous times told them we're not interested they still call day & night (sneaky as well use different telephone/area numbers each time)Friends help you move. Real friends help you move bodies.

i was discharged in Jan, got Vanquis with 250 limit in April. THis week I received a capital one card for £500 quid limit. Emergencys only!!0
