Hi everyone
I had an interview on Wednesday which I felt went OK. Reason I say just OK was that it only lasted 15 minutes or so, and I had prepared so many things to say which I didnt get to. Looking back now, I felt I could have answers some of the questions much better with much better examples from my experience. I felt my cheeks burn throughout the interview
lol !
I did the usual follow up email straight after and clarified I am very interested in the role. I got a response from my interviewer within 10 mins of me hitting send saying it was great meeting me and would be in touch soon.
Good or bad thing I dont know. I have had short interviews before and I got the job - and I really like this position so I am praying!
Has anyone else experienced interviews like this - perhaps bit short or they felt they didn't give 100%, did you get the job in the end?
Thanks

No can't say I have. All my interviews have lasted between 60-90 mins.
Good luck though0 -
What was the job for - rocket scientist - unlikely to have got it in a 15 minute interview, something simplier, more likely.Make £2026 in 2026

Agree with Slinky, depends on the job. I've conducted interviews that have been very short when I've been looking for evidence of a few key competencies and the interviewee has provided that evidence in a concise, factual way. You don't need to have rambled on endlessly to have effectively answered the question. Forgive the cliche, but with interviews it's quality over quantity every time.0
