I used this again on Friday for 2 people. At first the SA tried to pass it off as being BOGOF (and tried to charge £4.75 per game) but I soon corrected him. He fetched the manager who also agreed with me.
However we did buy a 2nd game as well, but at student prices it worked out at £4 each for two games - excellent value!!!0 -
What a great freebie!
Thanks0 -
Cheers Brucey !
Me, the mrs and 3 kids enjoyed a wonderfull morning bowling.. although we did end up paying for a second game.
The manager said that theres an offer on with AMF at the moment where you can book a family ticket ( 2 adults & 2 kids or 1 adult & 3 kids) for 2 games and you get it half price if its sat/sun 10-1pm works out at £14 which aint bad.£2 savers club = £83.500 -
My lot and I went bowling today, and really enjoyed it, thanks to this offer. They are looking for staff, so I picked up an application form, so it might be a money earning trip as well!0

I just wanted to say a massive thanks to the OP for this, I have just had the best birthday bowling, i had a voucher and so did my brother in another town and 13 of my family went bowling!! fantastic, it would have been £41!! thank you so much ,it really helped as we would not have afforded it otherwise0

Thanks to the OP but when I went for my booked game last night the manager said she'd never heard of it, surely it was buy a game get one free, why would they give away a free game for up to 6 people and made me out to be trying to con them!! Really annoyed and embarrassed in front of my friends who had travelled into town especially to go bowling. I will be complaining to AMF and I don't want to put anyone else off this offer but just wanted to let you know.
This was in Glasgow. Sorry for the long message.0 -
This offer has been around for quite a while. I've benefitted from it twice, using my registration and my partners. On one occasion there were only 3 of us and we were allowed to have 2 games each.
Unless they've changed the small print (we went in February and March) there is no way to interpret the voucher as a BOGOF.0 -
we went in weston last week. the staff on the till hadnt ever heard of it, and tried to pass it off as it was free for 1 person, but when i pointed to the small print sayin it was for 6 it was fine. excellent game for all of us, and will b registering everyone else and going bowling for the next 6 weeks!A good friend can tell you what is the matter with you in a minute ...:A0

Just booked for next week and got my voucher - does it include shoe hire? I think I remember that they charge you separately for the game and shoe hire.
Ta!0
