Northern Rock paperwork delay
Options
Application made on-line to Northern Rock for an unsecured loan on 28th March; have still to receive paperwork through the post.
Have spoken to NR on a number of occasions who continue to insist the paperwork is on it's way and has been delayed due to dealing with a large volume of applications at the mo.
Has anyone else had similar problems?

Not quite, received paperwork promptly but I wanted to change the account the money was going into. They resent new set of papers which I returned just before easter. I am taking into account the hols and hoping payment will be made next week.
Could be that they are processing a lot of applications at the moment, as each time I call I am put on hold for long time before being put through to anyone. As you have not received anything at all I would suggest that you give them another call to check they have sent the paperwork out.
Good luck

Yes, I applied 1st April but didn't hear until I phoned them on the 10th. They said the paperwork had been sent out but probably delayed due to Easter Bank Holidays.
When I did receive it, it had been posted on the 5th - still 3 working days since I applied and they state on their website 48 hours. :mad:0
