Is it me or does this occur in all banks? I mean when I go into the bank to put some money in account and pay credit card, there is normally some bloke hovering, and as soon as the transactions have finished, he pipes up "Can I see if I can save you money?"
A bank employee saving you money, well you trust your money with the bank so your going to trust a bank employee aren't you?
Well maybe, I'm not so gullible but I'm hearing more and more OAP's who are finding that they are being offered bad deals (cheaper monthly payments but spread out over longer period so they pay more interest).
Maybe its me but I think its mis-selling, how can be adding interest be saving you money.

The employee is a robot who's programmed to hassle unsuspected customers.
When they go to sleep at night time some people count sheep they go"can I save you money"can I save you money"can I save you money"can I save you money"can I save you money"can I save you money"can I save you money"can I save you money.0

Has this happened to you or is it hearsay?
OP have you actually sat down to see what the bank can offer before shouting off on here?0

 1. I am frequently asked this at my local LTSB, so often I'm actually considering moving my account, what part of no do they not understand?
 2. And the miss-selling occurred with a family member who has ended up with a additional loan they didn't need, and £72 a month insurance charges.
Question for you, do you work for a bank?0

Does the family member lack mental capacity?0

If it comes to "buyer beware" as far as banks go then maybe its time they didn't get saved with public money. end of
 "End of"?
Have you asked your relative why they took out the loan, and if they did not need it, what they have done with the money? What insurance did they take out?0

To be honest just seen some other comments regarding bullying attitudes on this site, your have got off on the wrong foot with me with your tone, so no I'm not interested in going any further. Being blunt I'm not interested in any comment you make.
 Thanks0

I have asked questions to establish whether your relative has been "missold". You are not willing to answer them. How do you expect anyone to help you if that is your attitude?0
