Clocks Go Back ONe Hour This Weekend :-(

Its that time of year again - and I hate it. Driving to work in the dark coming home in the dark. The days getting shorter, nights longer.

I feel sorry for guy at Windsor Castle who has a mammoth job of changing hundreds of clocks around the castle to the right time!

It's My favourite time of year, it makes me want to snuggle up, eat good hearty food and enjoy hobbies in front of the fire.

    It's a good job we're all different :D

At least he gets paid for it. My dad has loads of clocks and he has to change them all himself.

Anyway, we get an extra hour in bed :)

I used to like it but being alone...seeing most of daytime as dark and cold, I hate it...if there were loved ones to share my time with and do those nice simple things that mean so much no doubt I'd feel different...

If you can enjoy it do so and appreciate those who make your life special...

I'm glad they're altering, that will save me a job. Since earlier in the year when they went forward, i've been saying to myself i must change these clocks. Now i don't need to bother 'cos they'll be right again.

Bring back summer-time in the winter and double summer -time in the summer,. that would be great.
  • I don't like the shorter daylight hours, but those we can't do anything about. However, I don't at all mind the dark evenings, and I truly loathe the dark mornings, so I'm glad the clocks go back.

Could you please explain this to my DS aged 22 months.... he usually wakes at 6 - 6.15am so god knows what state I'll be in Sunday morning! :D

I always used to think this when my children were young. My cats aren't great at telling the time either! So much for an extra hour.
