Most of the offers issued by majority of the lenders usually have at least 3 month validity and the application process can take anywhere between 2 weeks to 2 months.
I would say you look into the market pronto and grab a good deal.
Also check your existing deal and what rate you will be going after the end of fix to make sure you are better off.0 -
We have the same end date and are just about to apply to the Cumberland BS who will hold a rate for 6 months. As harvey says 3 months is common but best thing to do is look at whats available and once you have found one you like then phone and ask how long their offer would be valid for.0

Start now, just don't complete until after the end of your existing deal (I'm assuming that there is an Early Repayment Charge on your current one or it's a better rate than you can get now). You are bound to find that the validity period of the new offer will cover you until then.0

Maybe on a similar situation as you, only that My fixed-rate term ends in Sept 2013 and that I am on shared-ownership with 25% ownership. What do I do next? Help. I am confused on what to do next. Don't have the enough money for increased monthly payments.0
