Finally, after 11 years I have cleared my £29k debt! I'm soooo happy right now!
This site has helped me no end and I'll continue to use it! To all those striving for their DFD's keep going!! The feeling is so worth all the hard work :j

Hiiiii!
Well, I'm getting married next year so I'll be putting a lot of money into savings
I did it with a lot of determination and hard work. I lived off a spreadsheet that told me my monthly outgoings and then it worked out what I had left for the month. I would draw that out of the bank and divide it into 4 envelopes and open an envelope a week. Was tough but soooo worth it!
I cleared my 2 loans and then cleared my credit cards (lowest one first to kill it off) then I put big chunks of money on the cards with the highest balance until they were paid off.
I'm so excited now!! :j0 -
