I wanna night light (for parents)

Hi there,
my OH's parents are coming to stay and we need to get some night lights. I'm having a little trouble finding any online and wondered if anyone had experience with night lights before?
There are some on Amazon but they don't have any reviews so I can't tell if they good or not. The main purpose is so that they can get around our apartment at night without having to blind themselves by turning on the main lights.
If anyone has experience of these things I'd appreciate the advice. Plus if they're cheap that would be a bonus too!
Thanks all.

If you have those solar garden lights what you stick into the ground they would work, they charge up during the day and light up on a night.Dunno if they have an on/off switch,as I dont have any.
Probably not that much help, but it`s the only thing what springs to mind.Debt Free Date:10/09/2007 :j :money:0 -
My friend uses the ones that sit in a plug socket, and have a sensor that tells it when it's getting dark, like streetlights.
She's a foster parent, and she swears by them, especially when new children come and wake up in a strange house and are trying to find the bathroom.
I don't know any details about the make, or prices etc. She's away for a week so if you still need them by Monday I'll ask her then.Depression is well Depressing. So I go shopping. Then I realise how much debt I'm in. Then my depression hits low and so I go shopping...0 -
Found some at Woolworths online, pack of two for £9.99. They are not the same as my friends, and the actual light area looks less so I don't know how effective they would be.
Might be worth a look though. The product number is 50717006

Hi Hazzie,
Great moneysaving idea :T The only problem is that the hall has no natural light so I'd have to remember to take them out and 'charge' them by a window before the evening. Knowing me I'd forget everytime
Hi Nneave,
Thanks very much for your offer to ask your friend - my OH's parents aren't arriving until the 21 April so there's enough time if you wouldn't mind. I'll have a look at the Woolworth lights now0 -
I got one my auntie, she got them from Lidl and swears by them. They do give of a good light and they go on when it goes dark.
Maybe they may still have them or might get more in the future?:happyhear We are not put on this earth for ourselves, but are placed here for each other.

They are on offer for £9.99 for two, but you get another one free, and they have free delivery!
I'm sure they were around £5.00 each, but these are a bargain, if you can use them all.
My auntie uses them when she goes on holiday and daily on the landing.
