This isnt really a new idea, only a spin on an old one, in that you do it seven times.

Two of my local Primary Schools have a charity auctions every year and they send out letters to companies (some local some larger) asking for items/goods to put up for auction, as well as for other fundraising events.

I really think that its should be highlighted that people should only ask if they need something and are actively involved in a group, like 160's said they are asking on behalf of their brownie group, otherwise companies could come overly aware of people trying to get items, and then neglect those who really need them.

If you enjoy giving or being charitable then perhaps volunteer some time to a local group, bake some cakes or donate items you don't need for the next sale

This is the Freebies board but I suppose we can lie and keep what they send us. Yeh good idea I would love a case of mars goodies.

Its one thing in being canny, and using your wits to make your money go further. If company's feel their "charity" is being abused - they will just stop making charitable donations so please do not abuse.

And if you are for real I don’t think posters should criticise the colour size or the capital letters in your post. I think it is amazing how you manage to get a capital letter at the start of each word using only one hand.

The One Hand Reference Of This Post Is Inconjunction To A Private Message I Sent To S/He Yesterday Asking Why S/He Started The "111" CamPAIN & Why S/He Could Not See That After All The Help & Freebies We Have Received From MSE It Would Be Great To Give Something Back Inparticularly The Fact I Have Just Been Made Disabled After I Had A Head On Crash With A Drunk Driver, Where I Was In A Coma For 6 Months, Lost The Sight In One Eye & Other Physical Attributes. I Asked S/He To Keep It Private As There Was No Reason To Mention It But Obviously S/He Feels The Need To Call Me A Liar, A Fake & Is Enjoying Laughing At My Disabilities.

Also Has She/He Never Heard Of The Help Of Disability Enabled Computers And Pacific Charities That Help People Rebuild Their Lives After Such A Trauma To Be Able To Try To Create A "Normal" Lifestyle.

That's Fine If S/He Makes Her/Him Happy.

Where do I say Nick is a liar? Where am I laughing at anyone’s disabilities? It seems people are reading their own meanings into my comments. Maybe they are doing this to reflect away from some of my questions.
Nick dose not have to work on a template letter, he can publish the letter he sent to Mars Inc. Then we can change a few names and use it.
