Pensions quote the TER. Not the AMC. So, if you see pension funds saying that AMC is x.x% that is actually the TER. When you use unit trust/OEIC funds you must use the TER to compare against the pension funds AMC.
Some pensions will have charges on the funds and not the wrapper. Others will have it on the wrapper and not on the funds. Some may be a bit of both.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
