    Hi all,

Also I live in Hertfordshire & can never find any Boots stores with any reduced items, can anyone give me some advice as to where to go?

    Thanks

I too live in Hertfordshire. Welcome. To be honest most Boots round where I live are really poor for reduced items. I've never found reduced items in London Colney, Welwyn Garden City, Harpenden or Hemel Hempstead. Occassionally there are reduced items in St Albans (they're located on a shelf between the pharmacy and food section). Watford has items reduced from time to time but you have to look for them as they're not in a central place. Well, that's my experience of these areas.

It should not matter that you have paid through paypal. You could always phone CS. I had 2 lots in a row days late so rang them and got both lots of delivery charge returned and 1000 extra points.

I used paypal last thursday and it was dispatched friday. Have you checked your status or had a dispatched email yet?

Are these blue bumper boxes an old free gift, I seen some today in my local. I think they were £6, anyone know if they are scanning 3 for 2 and what vouchers should be in them?

Thankyou moneypennyless for all those links you posted. i bought the following shaver on line for my DH birthday. A bit late to ask now but he likes the "bald" look. Does anyone know will this totally scalp him as the one he has at the moment (a lot cheaper) leaves a bit of stubble.

I thought as It was £100 initially it should do the job.

Remington F7 Diamond Series Foil Shaver
    Was £99.99
    Now £49.99

Also I have tried to amass enough points to buy him a little extra; I have just over £50 in points.....can I buy the i pod shuffle in any shop (I know Watford is a really big shop) or can you only get them on line?? In which case i cant use my points then can I??

If not any ideas what i can buy in store for £50 ish in points for mid 40s man who likes his music?? I thought about a camera but I would then need LOADS more points.

    Thanks in advance:j

Comet will also match 10% of the difference too. Only useful if more expensive at boots but could mean 45 pound rather than £49 :T
  • My skin is oily with open pores and I have always got a few spots. I have found the no7 dermabrassion kit and no7 combination/oily moisturisers to go somewhere near to combatting the shine and I think the pores have closed slightly to! I have also bought the clinique soap that people recommended (but have only been using it 2 days so not sure if made a difference yet!) and am going to try the no7 sauna mask tomorrow. There was a sample of dermabbrasion that I tried before I bought it in one of the no7 gifts if you have any - think it might have been the bag at christmes.

Thanks for that.. I don't have any of the bags and things as I am quite a newbit to bootings, lol but maybe if I ask the SA very nicely for a sample she might give me one  I'll wait and see how you get on with the soap and if its good I'll buy one too :D

I have the hyrdoquench sauna mask and it's excellent.. really lovely to use on the days between dermabrasioning (is that a word?) and very weird to feel it getting warm on your hand, lol

sorry for the bad typing, its late and i'm sleepy, so off to beddybyes now, na night everyone

    (from ladysparklexx post#3909)

"also includes a best of boots beauty voucher booklets containing the following:

    - 100 points when you buy toni and guy funky gum
    - 100 points when you buy an item from the trevor sorbie straightening addict
    - 1.00 ted baker bodywear ladies voucher
    - 2.00 no7 uplifting skincare voucher
    - 1.00 natural collection colour voucher when you spend 3.00
    - 1.00 17 colour cosmetics voucher when you spend 5.00
    - 1.00 botanics voucher
    - 50% soltan self tan voucher
    - 2.00 prestige let loose eyeshadow voucher"

The no7 lady in Mk wouldn't let me have one of these boxes today as it has a sample of protect and perfect serum in it
