The £5 skincare vouchers are free with any spend of £10 or over in Boots. They can be used on various brands like No7, RoC, Olay, Time Delay, Nivea etc. They are a 2 part voucher...one half is £5 off skincare, the other half is for 1/2 price sunglasses.
It really does seem to depend on which SA you get, or which branch you go to, as to whether you can spend them on any skincare item within the listed ranges, or just on Facial skincare items. And as I have already got masses of facial skincare stuff I have been trying to use them on Sanctuary body washes instead. So far I have managed to get 6 bottles...and payed nothing
HTH2008 gig list... Nickelback + Staind (OMG...Staind ROCKED!!), Roger Waters, Infadels, Pendulum, The Police, K T Tunstall, Breed 77, Biffy Clyro....oh, and Motorhead0 -
So if like me you have overdone the Bootsing, would definitely recommend selling some of it at a car boot, it's a good day out if nothing else![/QUOTE]
I just can't decide whether it would be better to not have to part with my stash and not have to buy toiletries for the next 20 (estimation) years, or to boot sale it? How much is the going rate for eg impulse, carex, elvive, 6 for 1 suncare?
Oh and disposable cameras as i am fed up of my phantom pregnancies now the parenting voucher glitch has been fixed!:A boots tart and tesco chick:A0 -

I would probably seriously think how much you will use yourself and give for gifts in the next 2-3 years, then bootsale the rest and with the profits buy something really good like a new microwave, or new perfume or .... you get the idea.. Because then you can still go bootsing (lets face it, its a hobby) and not feel guilty about having a house full of stuff that will be past its use by date and have to be binned.... seriously, go sort it out and boot sale/ebay the rest!

I agree, if you think you will use everything you have in the next year or so either for yourself or as gifts then keep it. But I have ended up buying things as it is such a bargain (and Bootsing is a bit addictive!) and had a box full of things I wouldn't use and weren't suitable for gifts. Remember something is only a bargain if you need it!
I was selling my suncare for £1-£2 (Glossy Locks, Lip Shimmer etc) and my No7 makeup from the bags was a real hot seller. Reckon things like impulse, carex etc you would get 50p to a £1.
I am home with half of the make up I took (and that was with selling HEAPS!), so am intending on going back, it would be worth doing just to sell that, never mind the 2 huge boxes of toys etc I came home with!0 -
Argh went to Boots without doing my homework and catching up on this thread....AND THEN FORGOT MY ADVANTAGE CARD. It went from bad to worse, spent £19 on stuff I needed, and whined the whole way around about "i bet theres a voucher for 200pts in the ACM"
stressful!!
Did my good deed of the day though, and gave a lady a half price sunglasses voucher as I wouldnt use it....thing was she looked like she could afford several pairs of £46 sunglasses, and didnt need my voucher... but anyway, maybe the good samaritan fairy will do something kind for me one day!!
Anyway, heres to hoping I didnt miss out on too many points!!0 -
I have just been sorting through some !! of my tesco/boots stuff and have got to the point of being ruthless. I am estimating how much we will use in a year and how much for friends etc then all the rest is going in the boot sale. (But then again as someone said these offers are always around!!) I mean I have to say half the stuff - well most of it really I don't use - time delay, gylcolic peels, plax. I just have not enough hours in the day to use/try to use them.
Oh and the cameras!! they are popping out of every cupboard possible!!
Can't wait to get rid of the lot really and make some pennies..
So how many toothpaste and radox do you reckon should be kept for personal use???
My card(s) all have comps and nothing worth bothering about although our store only has one machine.0 -
Lol, I kept approx a years supply and sold the rest. But now I have more!!0

guess everyone has been watching e-bay and packaging up tonight???
floflo, can you tell me how many points we would need for a basic tesco hol in the sun??? which company would be the best/cheapest in terms of points??0
