Hi There
I would stick with the personal account, they did try to get me to upgrade but I have found no need to really.
Well done with your first sales, It gets easier and less nerve wracking!!

Thanks for reply
Can I ask how you ask for payment on ebay so that you don't have to use premier account. Do u have to ask buyer to pay in a specific way0 -

I must go to the wrong SAs... they always say No when I ask for a voucher after paying with points.
The till doesn't prompt to give vouchers when you pay with points so you shouldn't really get one, but I guess if the SA gives you one then lucky you!

I spent my eBay vouchers today no problems, bought quite a few Time Delay products as they seemed the cheapest ones to get. I have LOADS of wipes as used to get them with the No7 vouchers.
Also bought 2 Herbal Essences BOGOF & had £1 off (FYI I got this from a few coupons that were in my Bounty pack, on the same leaflet was a £5 George Baby voucher, sorry can't remember what else but those who have had these packs will know what I mean, there is NO mention anywhere on the page about them being ASDA coupons although they have a green backgroud to them. It went through fine at Boots today & just shows on receipt as BRAND COUPON) for the FREE Haircut
Last but not least bought 2 more 17 items £2.99 each (make up wipes again & a shimmer brush), got another FREE Fairy bag & used the £1 off that was inside the last bag, presuming they will be another in this one too. Has anyone got a list of what the cheapest items are to buy to get the Fairy bag?
Then saw some nice items on clearance section, a lilac bag with exclamation dance EDT natural spray & perfumed body spray down from £12.95 to £4.00. Went through the till at £6.47, SA called another SA over who said something about policy being sell for half price so she let me have it for £2!!!2023 wins - Rice Krispies, Avene Micellar Gel, Barbie Toy, £20 Apple Gift Card, KFC 6 piece bargain bucket, Chloe Nomade perfume, Barbie Toy (second one), Sanctuary Spa Sleep Balm, E45 Moisturising Lotion, Trolls Hamper, 12 Tonie Characters, Sure deodorant, Good Home Utensil holder, £5 Costa Gift Card, Neutrogena Micellar Jelly, Soap & Glory Mascara, Persil capsules,0 -

Well done both of you only got £17 & £19 for mine
I know some of u are experienced sellers on ebay - I'm a complete novice
Can anyone give me advice?. Asked for payment through paypal got email saying I had to accept or refuse payment now says I have had limit for debit/credit cards & have to upgrade to a premier or business account. Is there anything I can do to get buyer to send money straight to my paypal account. What do you think I did wrong?. Is it better just to stick with personal account or have u all got premier accounts.
After this first experience of selling I don't think I will be selling much more - far too nerve-wracking.
Any advise would be really welcome
Thanks
Hiya, This happened to me too refuse the business accounts as it cost more. Just email the buyer saying sorry but you only have a personal paypal account as you are not a business and can only accept payment to paypal from their bank account or cheque/po/bankers draft or whatever you can accept. Then ask them to send to you.
In future put in the any other details at the bottom that you don't have a buisness paypal and cannot accept payment from credit card. (ebay are being a pain to try and get epople to upgrade and pay more)
Good luck don't be put off it's only a small prob.0 -
Got some lovely Guess prescription sunglasses today with the 1/2 price voucher. Sales lady told me that it would apply to the reduced sunglasses as well (not according to voucher). So picked a pair reduced from £90 to £60 and after some questions about can we or cant we take this (they cant) they honoured thier error and let me have them for £30. Very happy.
Will go very well with my new hair cut at Saks (30% off).
I love a bargain.Josey0 -
Four main "flagship"stores in Nottingham, London, Newcastle & Edinburgh are opening at 7am tomorrow to cope with the demand for P&P - first 50 in each store also receive a "goody" bag worth £50!!DFW No. 344
Proud to be dealing with my debts!!:T0 -
No luck buying body products with my five pound voucher. I wasn't even allowed a lip care item yesterday. I reallly wanted to try the sanctury rassul mud body mask too, the lady was lovely and even called someone over but I didn't want to make a massive fuss as the store was getting very busy and she was the only one serving.0
