i phoned cs on the weekend to say the ac isnt giving me offers. they said i would get a new card in 21 days.

i went to use my card to get points on a shop and it was taken of me ! they said the till says we need to withhold it. i said why ??? the sa said we believe its stolen !! (q of ppl behind me now)

i said i can assure you its not stolen. she asked if i had id in that name, i said no as its my parners card.

s/a does he have the same surname as you ???

no , were not married , anyway whys that a crime ?

they then looked at me like scum. the manager was called over and i explained i phoned cs at the weekend ect. he said a block has been put on it , they keep the card and i have to wait for 21 days for a new cardand just save recipts.

im getting fed up with boots. when i worked there customer service came first , we even had awards given for cs. grrrrrrrrrrr....

ive got £70 on my card , just hope theres no !!!! up and i get it back.

I went to boots yesterday to get my daughters 2nd b'day pics developed, i had a great time I first handed in the camera, and then bought her a bubblegomo car,(from fifi) on my card so it didnt cost me anything.
I then went and had a walk round notts, i went back for my photos and used my other card, paid in gift vouchers and got some nappies and a free huggies bag too. I was given a skincare voucher I went downstairs and bought my lunch on my main card so free again i aqquired a boots mag and ripped the voucher out!
Then i picked up a sanctuary comforting balm for dry skin at £7.95 and some crisps.. i took it to a young girl, who exclaimed " You cant use both of these vouchers together" like i had commited a sin! I thought on my feet after going red and said... "well i did yesterday" she tried it and i got free cream she looked quite shocked! I havent been bootsing in ages and ive missed it!

I too have/had a card that never gave me vouchers on the machine and its not 4 months and still nothing they sent me a new card which still is no better but they added my points on to the new card without takin them off the old card i only it was only £16 but its bettter than nothing for the inconvience !!!

It can take a while.Mine took about a month as they said they send them out in batches and I have just missed the first one.So far im not impressed by the whole thing, it took to long plus whne i phoned up they were less than helpfull.Now its a bit of mucking around trying to get my booking rather than being straight forward.

My booklet took about 2 weeks to arrive. I sent the form for the booking about a week ago and have not received a call.
Don't know about the number of bookings allowed.
But, and this is in relations to zztopgirl's post: you can send the form until the end of May, but the voucher for the treatment is valid until the end of June!! So we have ana extra month for booking the treatment.

I could really use a pamper treatment... :j

Can someone correct me if I am wrong but is there not a problem using the parenting voucher with some £16 + products where it just takes the £5 off ,not £16:rolleyes:

I'd like to get the Calm serum but wasn't sure if I'd get £16 off or just £5 if I did 342.

Can any experienced pregnant bootsers help?????????????

zztopgirl you can check your advantage points online if your registered on the website, not tried it myself though. hth
