  • Got my parenting vouchers and my over-sixty discount card at the weekend so after taking hours of advice from this board, took a trip to our big Edinburgh store. Realising the 3 for 2 No7 and Time Delay 3 for 2 offers are both up tomorrow, I thought I would buy both (no p & p or r & r there, SA says they are expecting large delivery on Friday 5 May).

    I bought 2 x No 7 radiant concealer, 1 x no 7 sun care all at £11.50 each. I was charged £1.15 and £11.30, one free.

I bought 1 Time Delay Serum at £11.50, 2 TD cleaners - one £8.50, one free.

I bought Single Use Disposable Cameras on BOGOF, I was charged 90p.

    Bought mascara £5.99. toothpaste £2.99.

I received an OAP discount of £5.20.

I handed over free camera voucher, No 7 £5 parenting voucher, so how come I paid £37.33? I got around 500 points, but I still feel I paid too much.

Dont they query you signing up to the parenting club and the over 60's one??? I signed my mum up to the parenting club due to me being pregnant so i knew the vouchers she would get she would use (i.e nappies for her house etc) but she was so paranoid at me doing it and worried that they would suspect a 50 year old woman wouldnt be pregnant!!!

a little off topic maybe - but heard loads about the parenting club on boots but just been looking at .com and saw the "health club" - is it worth joining sounds good, but i'm not over 60 so won't get the 10% discount, but other benefits seem ok ? any opinions. Thanks

It's very good, you use it to cover any dark circles under your eyes, or redness around base of nose etc, it's meant to make you look like you've had 10 hours sleep!!
I bought it and thought it was rubbish the pen isnt very good- too plasticy for application- and although its not the worst concealer it certainily is not a patch on the lancome, touch eclait or diorflash.Especailly consdiering you can buy the ysl touche eclait for about £14 nowadays.
I bought the lightest colour and have only tested it so if anyone wants it your welcome to it - I regret spending the £11.50 on it and after trying it out a few times went and bought my usual lancome one which is really brill .

Am probably being quite stupid here but can't seem to see anything on the website re a 'health club' or anything about discounts for the over 60s (for my mother, not me!). Appreciate any helps - thanks!

i joined the health club about two - three weeks back, you get to pick three options to join i joined

    give up smoking
    kids health
    diet

i received coupons the other day for money off items relating to my options
e.g smoking received 2 coupons for 50% of any nicassist product and 1 coupon for 35% off any nicorrette i bought the inhaler on saturday for 3.29
instead of 6.59 when you are on boots site look at the options on the left hand side. also you can get 250 points when you sign up to their prescription service think you get the points when they pick up your first prescription
