Good morning lovely peoples! Bit overcast up here today but not looking like rain thankfully. Sitting here having my first cuppa of the day....gorgeous!
Well it aught to be a nsd today. Last night I spent £1.44 on a carton of smoothie and 98p on some crisps for sharing amongst the staff... although thats a smuch as I hadin my purse for the week a friend gave me £2 and I found £1 so it was all covered without raiding my bank
Here's to a low spend day all round :T

The major question for me today is, can I drive 450 miles on one tank of fuel? (And I didn't even fill it to the brim yesterday.) Friday will definitely be an NSD, but whether today is one as well depends on my hypermiling skills.
Apart from petrol, no other money spent. I brought packed lunch to work once again, so no problems there.Debts (26.3% remaining) - CC/BARC: [strike]2058[/strike] 100.00 @0%; CC/MBNA: [strike]1877.75[/strike] 0.00; Loan/SLC: [strike]10000[/strike] 7901.84 @1.5%; Loan/Per: [strike]1500[/strike] 0.00; Loan/HX: [strike]15000[/strike] 0.00

Morning LJ, and everyone of course - thanks for starting the thread.
I have not got a clue if I will spend anything today. I'm hoping the answer is no, as I have packed my youngest daughter off to town, on the train, this morning. My wife is asleep, because she did a night shift. So, at the moment, just me, the cats and the computer.:j :j
But, being ever the pessimist, something is BOUND to happen, to shatter this otherwise idyllic calm.
So I'll post later if I spend anything - at the moment I'm keeping 'everything low'.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Morning (just!).. 70p on the bus today because the rare cheaper fare one turned up just at the right time
That should be all.. brought a massive tub of pasta in for lunch so hopefully no overpriced snacks!
Can't believe how much posting on here is making me stop and think about what I usually spend on odds and ends each day...Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

Agreed! Normally I wouldn't think about going out and spending even a couple of quid every lunchtime if not more! But I know I can't/shouldn't and my bank balance is looking good because of it! :T

Morning all.
Feeling fed up so it could be a bad day spending-wise.....
I've been up all night with stomach cramp and backache, still deaf in one ear and really snotty with this flippin' cold, and still coughing like a 90 year old, 40-a-day smoker. I've just remembered that the chinese take-away up the road is open at lunch times on Thursdays and Fridays.....and the baby REALLY wants chinese food for lunch!
Noooooo......must......be.......strong........
Will update later, unless I'm too ashamed"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
