based on the information you give the mortgage company, they would be prepared to lend you the money.
They have not checked out any information you have supplied and not had a property valuation so the decision is only "in principle" and they are not legally bound to it.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
