Hi all
Can anyone recommend any good Christmas fairs/markets to go to this year? I live in Berkshire so around here or surrounding areas, don't mind travelling a bit for a good one! We love ones with good food stalls, craft gifts etc that have a bit of atmosphere.
Thanks in advance

Midlands rather than the South so it depends on your definition of 'travelling for a bit' but the Birmingham Christmas market is excellent

We're in Surrey (DD1 at uni in Birmingham) and it's a two hour trip for us but you're further along the M4/M40 so it shouldn't be more than an hour and a half I wouldn't think and well worth it

Winchester Cathedral has one with an Ice Rink in the middle. This is lovely but gets really packed.A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.
Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.

I know its the only downside (but then hubby and ds go on all the boats which makes it a lot more reasonable!) we're buying our tickets before the 31st october as its an early bird discount. as much as I hate the price I do love it, it really puts me in the xmas spirit

what about the weald and downland christmas market on the 17th november? It may be a bit of a trek for you but its a fabulous day out, and tickets are only about £3.50 per person which includes visiting the whole museum0
