I wrote this years ago. Nothings changed. Maybe you can relate. One day we'll be free!

How am I going to ESCAPE these reigns, release the pain, find the pounds to free me, be a person again?
Because I'm HELD DOWN BY DEBT
I can't think straight
I'm spent,
CONSTANT ANXIETIES have got me writing LIFE CHEQUES.
Can't end the fret,
Gonna go MAD I bet,
If I don't pay this money off then I may wind up DEAD,
Cause I can't take any more,
These damn CORPORATE !!!!!S adding on more & more interest
ALL I NEED IS A CURE
"But there's no cure for being poor, just gotta earn it, that's all"
YEAH RIGHT, If I don't clear this debt I'll cut my wrists on the floor
THEN there'll be no more trouble THEN there'll be no more strife
and I won't have to pay back money EVERYDAY OF MY LIFE.

THIS MONEY GAMES A DISEASE
I just want to be free like the birds in the skies & the trees,

I NEED A FINAL LIFE LINE IM BEGGING YOU PLEASE

then we'll escape this finance leash and we can travel the seas.

Must admit my cavalier lifestyle put me here,
but I'm paying that back now with this ENDLESS HURT & a TEAR,
But does anyone care?
And can anyone hear?
Am I getting things straight?
Am I making it clear that EVERYDAY of my life I get a MOMENT OF FEAR I won't get out this dirty mess so everybody beware,
Now I intend to explode onto the celebrity scene,
thats for my family not me, so I'll be selfish, not mean, if it means I'm gonna make it, cause I'm gonna succeed and I'll escape this finance leash and we'll fulfill all our needs.
