Decent mechanic/garage?

Folks, does anyone know of any good mechanics/garages, preferably in the Lisburn/South Belfast area, possibly specialising in VW/Seat?
I left my motor into a certain unnamed garage (near the railway bridge ;-) ) in Dunmurry for them to prepare it for the MOT. I specifically asked them if they checked the bushes on the rear axle and they said "no, they're fine". Of course, tonight my car fails the MOT due to dodgy rear axle bushes, so I'm now carless and need to get the work done and re-tested quickly.
Obviously, said garage will be paying my re-test fee!!!

I always used the Beechlawn Service Stn on the Hillhall Road0

Would you have a phone number for them? The only number I can find is for the Beechlawn Service Station on Kingsway, which isn't the right place.
Thanks!
EDIT: Ah, hang on - I assume you mean Beechvale SS on the Hillhall?
EDIT 2: Closed until Monday for the Easter holidays :-(0 -
sprint or eurofix?0

Sprint, although they have now slotted me in at the start of next week to get it re-done. They did say that it can be a bit hit and miss whether or not the MOT centre fails you on this fault, but I would've thought that if there had been any chance at all of it failing, they would at least have said to me and given me the option to get the work done in the first place...0

Billy Donnelly, VW specialist - top man! Was with Agnew's for 30 odd years, now out on his own. Only does VW, Audi, Seat or Skoda though. Knows his stuff and doesn't rip you off. I have recommended him to many people and have had no complaints yet.

Can I just say I've also used that garage.......asked them to check my breather box after my turbo packed in and they said they did (they had the car for 4 weeks for a two day job, I even sourced the part myself!!).........did they f*$k! Took it to another mechanic and got the part checked, the part had never been changed.
Unlike yourself I have no problem slating Eurofix. I got so many excuses as to why my car wasn't ready and why the owner/manager wasn't available (including once were he was involved in an explosion and had to go to hospital - I called round an hour later and he had made a miraculous recovery sitting drinking a cup of tea).
I hope you get your re-test fee back.Life in this world is, as it were, a sojourn in a cave. What can we know of reality? For all we can see of the true nature of existence is, shall we say, no more than bewildering and amusing shadows cast upon the inner wall of the cave by the unseen blinding light of absolute truth, from which we may or may not deduce some glimmer of veracity, and we as troglodyte seekers of wisdom can only lift our voices to the unseen and say humbly "Go on, do deformed rabbit again.....it's my favourite". © Terry Pratchett in "Small Gods"

Can I just point out that my issue was with Sprint, not Eurofix. ;-)0

Ava Garage off the ormeau road are great. They're honest about the work that needs done and the cost and don't do anything without your say so. I've used them for several years now and have managed to get an increasingly elderly car through the MOT every time. Don't know if they specialise in anything though. You do need to book a couple of weeks in advance too - because they're good they're very busy.0

Sprint have now sorted the problem out and were very good about it - it seems to have been one of the few areas left in the MOT which is a bit subjective!
Well, I'm hoping it's sorted out - I'll find out tomorrow morning. ;-)0
